Welding Up-Dates and Tool List are below
Welders for the general welding (competing for nationals) will be welding with Flux core, SMAW, GTAW, Oxy/Fuel cutting.
Items to bring:
Welding Hood
Safety Glasses
Welding Gloves
Personal protective clothing, leather boots(no tennis shoes)
Hearing protection
Cutting goggles
Side cutters or needle nose pliers
Fillet weld gauges
Stainless wire brush (for GTAW)
Team Fabrication.

4 1/2″ grinder w/ 20′ extension cord
Grinding face shield
Combination square, framing square and any other squaring or plumbing tools
Soap stone, scribe, marking tool
Side cutters or needle nose pliers
Center punch
Compass
The Fab. teams will need to be split into two groups half (8 teams) start at 7:00 am so they need to be here by 6:45 am and the second group will start at 11:00 am and need to be here at 10:45 am. The first group will finish at 11:00 am and the second group will finish at 3:00 PM. All other contests will start according to schedule.
