I hope your first week back with students is going well. This is an invitation and reminder about the SkillsUSA Board of Advisors Meeting that will be held on Monday, September 8, starting at 5:30pm at China Faith in Salem, Oregon. You are welcome to come at 5:00pm to start dinner. The agenda for this meeting and minutes from the last meeting with be coming out soon. Please let me know if you have questions and if you are new and need directions. Also, please let me know if you will be attending. Thank you and see you next week. |

SkillsUSA Advisors,
Last night at the June meeting, your Board of Advisors voted to host a meeting in August for all of you to come together before school starts and share in Fall plans and seek your input and participation in them. It would be a chance to meet the new State Director (hopefully in place by then) and offer some training tips for you to share with your students and maybe to help you organize your chapter earlier in the school year for maximum benefit to your students.
This gathering is scheduled for Monday August 18th at the WESD in Salem, starting at 10 AM –ending about 3 PM and of course would include lunch.
Please put the date on your calendar and let me know if you can attend, thanks.
